English version, by popular demand

Time and space transform before me, nothing is the way it was before. Were in a town called Cahuita, in Costa Rica, recommended by my friend K. We crossed the border yesterday. What a strange concept; borders, the arbitrary divisions we create to differentiate ourselves from one another. We have been through several, very different places, and all ina very small area. And even time feels different.

Conversations are taking the form of a spiral, eventually reaching the center: there is only one life, and time and separation are just an illusion. Everything is connected in more ways than we can understand. These are all things that I had thought about before, but traveling cements it in a way that i had forgotten after living in such a sedentary way for so long.

Los Santos, Santa Ana, Volcan, Boquete, Bocas del Toro... all stops we made in Panama before arriving here.

Tomorrow we leave toward Turrialba and San Jose. We need to get out of Costa Rica as soon as possible. Its too expensive, and the conversions to colones are could not be more confusing.

Thinking of you,
z

It's always better to have your material prepared before going on an extended vacation. Practice your routine in small clubs and local theaters.
