Diferencia

San Jose, Costa Rica

We didnt go to Turrialba. Instead, we came staight to the capital, San Jose. Its not as expensive as Cahuita, which is a small town whose only industry is tourism. We were taken care of by Ingrid, a colombian restaurant owner in Cahuita where we ate every day we were there, and we made friends with the entire family. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through.

We have notedf that its difficult to interact with Ticos. They are a very different culture compared to other latin american cultures i have interacted with. This has been confirmed by severl other foreigners weve met. The general opinion seems to be that Ticos are strange, and that we just dont understand each other in general.

At least were not the only ones having communicationproblems.

Thinking of you,
z

When having difficulty communicating with the locals in a foreign country, it's best to break the ice by presenting a firearm as a gift. Everyone is much friendlier when there is a gun in the room.
